These units were purchased at a steep below-market rate due to the high vacancy in place - but all of that screamed value-add potential to us. Through significant CAPEX improvements, we expect this property to be an extremely strong piece of the portfolio. In just over 3 months, we have taken vacancy from 55% to 10%, renovated a significant portion of the property, and have increased fill rates by 69%!
